Caring for your boots

two-clients-holding-sheepskin

We use genuine quality Australian sheepskin, there is no artificial sheepskin fibre used in any part of our boot production.

Waterproofing

Your Two Sheep ugg boots are not waterproof, so to keep their new look we recommend you spray the outside of the boot with Ugg Protector Spray On before wearing. This will protect the outer skin from water splashes, most grease and other stains.

Washing your Two Sheep uggs:

  1. Dissolve a small amount of quality Ugg Sheepskin wool wash shampoo in luke warm water. Do not use hot water.
  2. Hand wash the uggs in this luke warm water. Do not allow the boots to stand soaking in water.
  3. Lightly rinse boots under luke warm water and place them in a shady position away from direct sunlight, allowing them to dry slowly to retain their natural, supple finish. Ideally place the boots upside down to drip dry.
  4. After washing and drying you may notice a mild shrinkage of the skin and the boots may be a little tight initially when first wearing them again. After wearing your boots for an hour or so you should find that the skin has stretched back to its normal shape and size.
  5. Add another coat of Ugg Protector spray to minimise the impact of water splashes and other stains in future.

Please avoid:

  • Any form of heat (hair dryer, direct sun or open fire) will cause noticeable shrinkage of the skin.
  • Do not wash your ugg boots in the washing machine.
  • Do not use ordinary detergent or bleach, as it often contains harsh chemicals which will damage the sheepskin.
